Hi there... Im looking for a new roommate in beautiful downtown Jersey City. My current roommate has purchased a new apartment and is moving out. The apartment is about 15 mins from the city. Its only two stops away on the Path (at Grove Street Station). The apartment is available August 15th or Sept 1st. I am beginning to show the apt on Weds, August 1st.About the Apartment/Room- The apartment is on the 2nd floor.- Your room is about 11 by 11ft - Closet is not in room, but right beside bedroom. There is a very nice dresser in the room, yours for the taking, if you want it.- Shared bathroom- Living room and kitchen are combined. Kitchen area has new kitchen table with benches and stool. Kitchen is fully stocked with dishes, pots, pans, etc.- Stainless steel appliances including dishwasher- Living room has 37 hi def TV with blu-ray player and multi-room DVR, leather sofa.- Utilities and common expenditures will be split evenly (electric and gas average $120 and cable/internet/phone is around $115 (this includes a multi-room DVR in bedroom)- Rent is $850 a month- Deposit is $1125 (month and half)- Renter to sign 6 month lease with rental office (very easy to get approved)- Grocery store and laundry facilities are 1 block awayAbout You- Working professional or student (will need to provide proof of income and/or references)- Down to have a drink from time to time but no need to be best friends- Although I consider myself an easy going person I find I live best with someone who cleans up after them self.- Non smoker Preferred.
