DescriptionOur home is located right in the center of it all. We are right across the street from Fred Meyer, Laurelhurst park is only 7 blks away, and there are so many wonderful quirky little shops and hangouts surrounding us. If you take public transportation, the very frequent #14 and #15 are right near by.Carissa occupies a room on the main floor. She is in her early 20's and moved here a year ago from arizona after graduating from the university there. She has an adopted beagle mix named Simon.D makes his home in the basement of the house. He had been traveling all over the U.S. until he decided to take up roots here in Portland just over a year ago. He is also in his 20's and works as a waiter.The first room we have available is approximately 10 x 11 and has two windows that let in a lot of light. There is also a good sized walk in closet with mirrored doors. The floors are hardwood and the walls are a very neutral color. There is a bathroom two doors down that is shared with the other main floor tenant. This room goes for $495.The loft apartment that we have available consists of two large rooms in addition to a small but full-sized bath (toilet, sink, & tub/shower). The loft has two closets (one large, one small) and two windows, one on the east and the other on the west. The flooring consists of brand new light gray carpeting and the walls were painted a slightly darker shade of gray less than a year ago. The loft goes for $625, and is available as early as the 24th of this month.The common area consists of hardwood floors and includes a kitchen, dining room, and living room. There are free laundry facilities and limited storage in the basement. Parking is available in the driveway and on the street in front of the house. We also have a small backyard with various fruit trees. Window unit A/C for the summertime is available.Utilities are running between $40 and $60 per person for gas, electric, and water, depending on the season. There is also internet and cable TV to share with some of the other tenants, if you like. The landlord pays for trash/recycling, and keeping the property landscaped.We aren't accepting pets or couples at this time. There is a 1 1/2 month refundable security deposit required prior to move-in, along with first month's rent. You must agree to a six-month lease, although 1 year is preferred.
