After looking at a couple places closer to Campus we were nervous a safe environment might not be found. Fortunately we stopped at University Village and were blown away with the overall set-up of the community, the housing options and all the extra amentities included and offered as part of the rent. The UV busing was a huge bonus and something that our son is grateful for everyday. I'm not sure how other housing complexes work, but at UV they go above and beyond to meet or exceed the expectations of their tenants. For example, several days prior to move in we received a call of a problem with the unit our son was moving into and were asked if we could push our move in date to the next weekend, we explained that wouldn't be possible. The UV Staff work diligently on our behalf making every attempt to get us into a comparable unit with all the originally promised amentaties. They came through with flying colors and we were able to move our son and his roommate in as originally planned. In addition, I think it is incredible the amount of fun the UV Staff brings to the UV community, I don't know of many places that offer so much free entertainment, activities and contests as UV. I would strongly encourage you to check out UV, it's in a great location and truly a beautiful community with caring staff that will work to meet or exceed your every need. I'm proud for my son to call UV his home. Way to go UV . . . . Keep up the Good Work.

  I love University Village because our maintenance department is really quick and they take care of e ... more I love University Village because our maintenance department is really quick and they take care of everything for you. I also love that we have a work out facility so no need to trek all the way to the RPAC to work out. University village provides a safe fun community that you can easily get involved in with their community events like tailgating before football games and Oktoberfest! University village seems to really care about their residents and they make improvements when there are problems that need to be addressed for example they realized that residents were unhappy with the big red bus shuttle that takes you to campus and they made changes that reflected what their residents wanted. University Villages flexibility and willingness to solve problems is one of the reasons I love living here!

It was my first choice when I moved out of dorms. The biggest thing I like here is the bus system. It is very nice to not have to walk all the way to campus, sometimes the busses don't always run when you need them too or they are too packed and stuffy, but if you don't have a car it really helps that you have a guaranteed way to class on a wintry morning. The apartments are nice, maintenance is usually pretty helpful and I think it is a good place to check out.
