I'm looking to sublet my apartment for the remainder of the lease term. It was one of the first things I fell in love with when I moved into this city that bears love in its name. A tour of the apartment revealed a place that was up-to-date, but had never lost its genteel charm: hard wood floors, high ceilings, thick, sturdy walls, a cozy bedroom overlooking the balcony, and a spacious kitchen that was up-to-date, but never lost its history. When I moved in, my neighbor invited me over, helped me to move in my things and shared some beers with me. We are not just neighbors here; we are friends. This was my apartment. It was home.Paradise has its price, and the economy cares little for paradise. Since my wages have been cut in half, $750 per month is a price I can no longer afford. Water and trash pickup is included; heat, gas and Internet/Cable are not. The landlord is looking for someone with good credit and a steady source of income as well to take over the lease.
