I'm looking for a roommate to rent the available bedroom in a 2 bedroom house, located at 385 N. 3rd St., for the next lease term (June 1- May 31, 2014). The house is a 10 minute walk to campus and 4 blocks from downtown. The rent is $325/month plus utilities. Internet and satellite TV are available if interested. There is room for 1 vehicle to park in the driveway, which would be available to you, provided you don't drive a large vehicle. The garage is too small for a car, but there is room to store a moped or bike. The available bedroom is large (especially in Platteville rental standards), with 2 closets. The bedroom was repainted and the hardwood floors were refinished over the summer. The house is very clean and fully furnished with the exception of the bedroom. If you have other furniture, we can make arrangements to accommodate it. There is a washer and dryer in the basement. I'm looking for a clean, drama-free roommate, like myself. Non-smokers are preferred. The landlord does not allow new tenants to have pets. I do, however, have 2 friendly, clean cats, so you should be able to tolerate cats and obviously not be allergic to them.
