Description:
Looking for 20-something professional female to share Nob Hill apartment! I'm open to males, but no couples. Apartment will be available for move-in on 12/23. Please see below description of the apartment, and a little about me and what I'm looking for in a roommate. If you are interested and think we may be a fit, please shoot me an email and tell me a little about yourself. Note: the landlord WILL check credit, so please only contact me if you have a good credit history. $20 fee due to landlord for credit check. Rent will be $1,500/person; security deposit of $1,500 due after credit check to hold room. ABOUT THE APARTMENT: This charming Edwardian apartment has beautiful views of the Golden Gate Bridge through Russian Hill. The unit is in the back of the building, overlooking a garden, and is very quiet. It has a sunroom and a large foyer. The original detailing includes stained glass windows, coved ceilings, hardwood floors, and built-in bookcases. One bedroom has two walk-in closets. The double parlor separated by sliding doors can either be used as a living room/dining room or living room/ bedroom. The updated kitchen includes a dishwasher, disposal and gas range. With about 1000 sq.ft., the unit is spacious and includes a storage room off the kitchen and a linen closet. A courtyard garden is shared with the other tenants. The convenient location is near public transportation, restaurants, shopping, laundromats, parking garages, the Financial District, Union Square, and the Van Ness Corridor. The following utilities are included in the monthly rent: heat, garbage, and water. No pets or smoking allowed in the building. ABOUT ME: I'm a 24-year-old female transplant from Atlanta (as of last Friday!). I work at an advertising agency in SOMA. I work Mon-Fri 9-6, and after work I like to go to happy hour some nights, stay in other nights. I'm pretty active and very social. I don't know too much about the city yet, so I'm definitely excited to explore. I have some furniture being shipped from Atlanta (bedroom furniture + a sofa, chair, TV, lamps, paintings, some kitchenware). I am very tidy, but not anal about cleanliness. I'm looking for a female roommate (open to males) who are around my age (22-30) with M-F jobs. Since I'm new to the city, I'd like to become friends with my roommate, rather than just "hello" and "goodbye" in the mornings before work. I would like to find someone who is equally eager to exploring the city, or is familiar with the city and active (and open to having a new friend tag along!).
