Beautifully appointed, recently renovated. Large loft with custom built-ins. No expense spared in the recent remodel (~2 years ago), with finishes including wood floors, granite counter-tops, stainless steel appliances, and glass block walls in the master bathroom. Closets have custom closet organizers. Complex is low rise, lushly landscaped, and immaculately maintained for a resort lifestyle with urban appeal. This place is as good as they get downtown, and frankly we would not be moving if it weren't for my new job taking us quite a ways north. We've enjoyed every single second of our time here, and we know you will too!The Pros:-Gated community = total privacy and security.-Easy access to Highways 5 and 163...15 Minute drive to North Island Naval Air Station and 32nd Street Naval Base.-Massive master bedroom w/ 2 huge closets to match.-Beach house feel...without all the sand!-The living room skylight lights up the place beautifully throughout the day.-Within walking distance to: Ralph's Grocery, hundreds of fantastic downtown restaurants, the San Diego convention center / PetCo Park, Little Italy, downtown waterfront district, and more!-Access to on-site swimming pool and hot-tub.-2 traditional bedrooms, and a 3rd loft-style "Bedroom". This can be used for and office/workout room/living room/guest room, whatever you want!-Comes with 1 parking space in on-site garage. Additional units may be rented from the HOA.-Outside patio (with storage space). Gas grills are allowed!-Garage storage unit.-Hidden cat door to external litter box space.-Jacuzzi tub in guest bathroom.-Flat screen TV mount and surround sound speaker wiring is already installed for all your home-theater needs!-Washer/dryer in unit.-Central heat & A/C (though you'll never need either...we never did). The windows were more than enough to control the temperature in this place. You wouldn't believe the breeze in the summer!-Gas fireplace.The "Cons":-Rent includes water/sewage/waste/site security. Does not include gas/electricity/cable. Usual costs for the two of us were: $10/month for gas, $30-40/month for electricity.-Pets are negotiable. Most people have them (we have a cat), so that should be no problem. Dogs may or may not be OK, depending on breed. HOA allows 2 pets total regardless.The Rest:-Contracts are 1+ year long, with a month-to-month agreement after the original contract is up.-Security deposit is one month's rent, paid upon move-in.-Pet deposits are as follows: $300 for each cat, $500 for each dog.-Non-refundable application screening fees of $35 per person will apply.
