I am forced to leave my beautiful apartment in Southwest Harlem early (my lease ends in October), and am looking for a tenant to take over the lease and preferably resign the lease with my AMAZING landlord in October. This is a floor through of a brownstone, with a HUGE living room the size of a downtown studio apartment, a massive bedroom and a massive kitchen. The bathroom has heated floors and a jacuzzi, washer/dryer, and theres built in storage in the closet and bedroom, and 2 beautiful, impeccably restored art deco fireplaces. It is on a very quiet and safe tree-lined block, near cafes, Red Rooster, and the 2,3 trains. This is literally one of the most beautiful apartments I have ever stepped foot in in New York, and I have felt privileged to live here for 1.5 years, but I unfortunately have to relocate. The apartment is on 120th and Adam Clayton Powell, and is a 10-15 minute walk to the Columbia campus. This place would be great for a teacher/student, also perfect for a couple, and even big enough (by a long way) to split into 2 bedrooms. The ceilings are about 20 feet high and there are restored parquet floors and decorative molding everywhere. The building is very pet friendly. My landlord would love someone who would be able to take over the lease in October which would mean no broker's fee when the time came! I have many photos and would love to share, so email me for more info. This is for a March 1st or 15th move in.
