NW). The room is large enough for a king bed, and side tables, dresser, and desk with plenty of space to spare. It has built in bookshelves, a big closet, and a large bathroom with full bath/shower and shelving. The apartment has two full bathrooms is open with a large, new kitchen opening into a living/dining area and a great gas fireplace. 2 full storage closets and washer/dryer closet with additional storage in the unit. Double pane, quiet windows, and lots of light. Tenants pay electricity and the landlord covers all other utilities. The complex with young professional and has a patio with a BBQ grill and will have a roof deck. Kitchen is nice and new and big, with hanging pot rack, garbage disposal, dishwasher, large fridge.Roommate is a young professional woman, steady job, respectful, and travels frequently for work. Looking for similar age roommate (female preferred). No pets, no smokers. Closest metro is Shaw/Howard University (10 min walk). The G8 to George Washington University stops outside the door, the G2 to Georgetown is a couple blocks away, and 80 a block away. Walking distance to Howard University. U st. is within 10 minute walking distance. Downstairs from the apartment is Windows Café and market, Yoga District, new restaurants and bars, and a bakery. Walking distance (less than 5 min.) to Big Bear Café and Farmer's Market. Easy trip to Logan Safeway and NoMa Safeway.
