Description:

This is the best located and best sized apartment for any UF student. It's closer to campus than most dorms, and significantly cheaper and more spacious. The apartment is a 2/1 in a duplex (2 girls who share internet with us live above), located right next to Looking Glass. Library West is visible from the front porch. It's a 2-5 minute walk to midtown, and 5 minute walk to most classes. It's also an extremely easy walk/bike/skate to Shands. You'll never need a bus from this spot. The place is huge for midtown, with a 1200 square foot living room, a small dining room that needs a table, and a kitchen with everything you'd need. We also have a yard area which is covered in dirt, ideal for bonfires and selling parking on game days. You would have 2 parking spaces available.The apartment is $475 plus utilities. The bills have ranged, but are typically under $40/person in the winter time. I would be willing to negotiate how utilities are split, but the rent is not negotiable. The place also came unfurnished, but I have a couch and all the things you'd need for cooking. My previous roommate left a bed and desk in his room too. There's a ton more space if you need to bring a lot of stuff over, but if you're simple or just staying a short period in Gainesville, it's definitely not necessary you bring any more furniture. The place IS pet friendly, since it's private. I own a ferret, but she typically stays in my room. There is a $200 pet fee, but that's only for dogs and animals that go outside.I am a Junior at UF, pre-med, and a serious worker. I do go out often at night, but I don't like to have people over because of the mess. I am very clean and respectful. I'm also active in the local NORML chapter, Libertarian club, and Neuroscience club. I'd prefer a roommate who is also a UF student or interning at Shands. You would need to be on lease for the Spring semester, but Summer is optional. You can move in any time past December 25th!I REALLY need a roomie, so I'd greatly appreciate finding someone awesome!- Must be 18-25 years old- Must sign lease- Rent is not negotiable :(
