A little about the apartment: It is about a mile away from CMU’s campus. The bedroom is spacious enough for a full size bed, dresser, and desk, plus extra room for walking. There is an attached bathroom which is also very spacious. (Great water pressure!) Attached to the bathroom is a walk-in closet. I had a lot of clothes and believe me, they all fit! There is a washer and dryer in the apartment. There are two other roommates. One is thinking about leaving in January for her internship and the other will be there until May. The apartment is not furnished, but the other two girls have enough dishes and furniture for the living room. I’m sure if you have things to bring they would be welcomed. Amenities that the apartment offers are: swimming pool, hot tub, free tanning, 24 hour fitness room, game room, computer room, free internet. Great landscaping and park-style grills out back. I had nothing really to complain about the apartment, except that I was driving all the way to Midland everyday, so I needed some place closer. Rent is $385 per month, utilities are generally between $40 and $60 a month. Great parking outside, you can even get a pass for parking under an overhang for $10 extra a month. Great deal since almost everyone who moves in pays $400 and I'm in a locked price of $385!
