I am looking for a roommate for 6 (possibly 9 months) for a start date of no later than May 1st and can accomodate a move date anytime between April 14-May 1st. It is a roomy and cozy home in Steilacoom, walking distance to the water and beautiful views of the Puget Sound. It is conveniently located to restaurants and shopping centers and there are a few restaurants and pubs that are in walking distance. You will get a parking pass for the beach and can be assured that it is a safe neighborhood with lots of places to walk and hike. Rent is $525.00 plus utilities. You can expect to pay an additional $125 per month for electricity, cable and garbage pick-up. High speed internet is available and included. I am willing to negotiate the rent. The house is great. It is a good sized house, 3 bedrooms, 1 bath, kitchen, living room and garage. It is located in a quiet neighborhood with a roomy front and back yard. The backyard has a small patio to sit out and it is lined with trees and blackberry bushes for privacry. Pictures of the bedroom, kitchen and living room are included below. There is ample closet space and a garage for some storage. I really love the neighborhood and town. I am a professional woman in my 30s and I work from a home office. I am friendly, social and pretty active/like doing stuff outdoors. I prefer a female, non-smoker. If you do smoke you just can't smoke in the house per the landlords request. I am hoping that the person will be clean and neat and share basic household chores. The landlord is very helpful and accommodating (but not intrusive) and prefers no pets. I currently have the place furnished; however, we can discuss if have furniture you would like to bring in.
