Looking for someone to take over the remainder of my lease in a wonderful 2 bedroom 2 bath at Flats 130. I will be finishing up my masters program in December and will be moving. My current lease term goes all the way through to August 24th of 2018. I am looking for someone to take over the lease beginning January 1st. My apartment is located in the signature tower of the building, so you would get access to the roof top lounge area, small packages delivered to your door if asked for, and all the other amenities included with the rest of the building (pool, gym, various courtyards, pet area, media center, etc.) The building is also conveniently located above a grocery store; a quick elevator down to the garage and you can easily access Harris Teeter without ever stepping a foot outside. I currently share the apartment with a male roommate who works on the hill. Easy going guy, really friendly, recent college graduate. The base rent for the unit is $3,004. Then the building adds heating/cooling charges ($60-70), water charges ($20-30), waste water charges ($10-15), trash removal ($10)...in total we each pay around $1560-1570. Electricity is done through Pepco which is usually an extra $40-50 and internet ($15). Overall we end up paying $1,630-1660. Water, electricity charges can vary just depending on how you choose to use things so sometimes it can be lower. Would be willing to take on some of the utility costs. You are also right next to the red line metro, near a beer garden, near Union Station, on top of a grocery store, and can easily access any other area of D.C. You are far enough away from the craziness that can be DuPont, or Adams Morgan, but can easily take an Uber or metro on the weekends when you need some fun. You really can't beat price and location. Also most of the people living in the building and a lot around the area of students going to the law center either for their JD or Masters so its not a crazy loud building.
