Enjoy your stay at our cozy, comfortable 3 bedroom Lake Burton cabin overlooking Murray Cove. This cabin is fantastic for small groups up to 6 people. There are two bedrooms on the upper level, one with a king size bed and the other with a full bed. Enjoy a morning cup of coffee on the front porch swing, or on the expansive screened in porch overlooking Murray Cove. The master bedroom is privately located on the lower level with its own den and opens onto the lower level covered deck. There is an abundance of things to do - you can relax on the large screened in porch overlooking Murray Cove, or on the lower level open deck which spans the entire length of the house. If you want an 'active' day - there are all types of activities. The lake is perfect for fishing, skiing, tubing, and kayaking. There are boat and jet ski rentals available at the local marinas. The cabin is located on a quaint gravel road with numerous walking trails right outside the door, or you can drive a few miles to hike Black Rock Mountain, Scaly Mountain, Unicoi State Park or be at the foothills of the Appalachian Trail. The area is home to numerous waterfalls including Ruby Falls, Minnehaha Falls, and Tallulah Gorge, featured in the movie "Deliverance." The cabin is a 15 minute drive to Clayton, which has adorable shops, galleries, and restaurants and is also conveniently located close to Dillard, GA, and the quaint town of Helen, GA.
