I'm subletting my bedroom in a 2bed/1bath apartment on Comm Ave. It's a great apartment (very cozy) and very close to BU campus, Brookline and Allston! Available March 1st (earlier if reasonable). You can stay until May and find someone else to finish out the lease or stay until September, but March-May preferred. About the Apartment: -Located right off the green line, a 2 minute walk to the Harvard Ave stop, 66 and 57 bus route -5 minute walk to Shaw's, CVS, 15 minute walk to Trader Joe's in Brookline -4th floor walk-up (it's not that bad we swear!) -Apartment was recently updated-- granite counter tops, re-tiled bathroom, wood floors throughout -Bedroom has two windows that get great light, one closet and plenty of room for furniture--I currently have a full size bed, desk, and dresser but it could fit up to a queen size bed comfortably -You will have to share the bathroom and common area with one roommate -Rent is $925/month (heat and hot water included), electric, gas, cable and internet average about $60-80/month depending on use -Window AC units are allowed April-October -The building is non-smoking and no pets (sorry!) -Coin operated laundry in basement, but there are several laundromats around -The Super is around often and any maintenance requests are met quickly -Apartment is furnished, you only have to furnish your room but if you have other pieces they would be considered depending on space About Potential Roommate: -22 year old male grad student, works part time -Quiet, clean and respectful -His boyfriend is a welcome guest in the apartment (also very respectful) so you would have to be okay with that -He will be in class or at work most days so you would have the apartment to yourself for the majority of the time About You: Are you a grad student or young professional?
