Have you ever considered hosting a foreign exchange student? If you have a spare room, you can be paid $650 each month to host a high school student from a foreign country! Here's how: Educatius International is a student placement organization that is searching for families to host exchange students for the coming school year. Our students are between 15 - 18 years of age and they will spend a semester or an academic school year with a host family while they attend an American high school. Our students must exhibit a high level of maturity, have strong academics and have the ability to adapt to a diverse culture. Educatius International has been promoting world peace through inter-culture understanding for over 20 years. As a host family, you will be responsible for providing a room with a bed, dresser, a quiet place to study, and a caring environment. Host families are also responsible for meals within the home, but not outside the home. The host family receives a stipend of $650 per student a month to offset any expenses. Families can host up to two students at a time. Our students have their own health insurance and are responsible for any expenses outside the home. This includes clothing, entertainment, meals, etc. Students know that they are responsible for all costs incurred for lunches during school hours. To assure the best possible experience for all participants, host families must be screened and pass a background check.
