Our niche is providing short term quarters to people who prefer a homey environment over a institutional/sterile hotel environment. Our guests are made up of 85% families of Cleveland Clinic or University Hospital surgery patients and international surgeons doing observerships at the Cleveland Clinic; the balance of our folks are medical phD's and people between houses. Our apartments are fully furnished and completely private. They are in buildings that have a total of 3 apartments. Each apartment is private with its own kitchen and bathroom. Also, parking and laundry are provided for free on site. The apartments have cable t.v. as well as wi-fi. They are walking distance from cafes, restaurants, cleaners, grocery stores, a movie theater and a library. Travel time to, both, University Hospital/CWRU & the Cleveland Clinic are 3 - 5 minutes driving, 15 - 25 minutes by bus or 25 minutes by foot. The pricing is as follows: 2 BR: $1325 - $1500/month + utilities + a 1 time $95 cleaning fee. The utilities include electricity, wi-fi / cable t.v. & gas; I'm making a conservative estimate at $250.00/month for the utilities. This turns out to be a total price of, roughly, $51/day; relative to any hotel/motel in the area, it is the best value, hands down.Add to this that you have your own kitchen in which to prepare meals, the value is unmatch-able. 1BR/ Studios: $900/month to $1250/month + utilities + a 1 time $75 cleaning fee. The utilities include electricity, wi-fi / cable t.v. & gas; I'm making a conservative estimate at $130.00/month for the utilities. This turns to be, roughly, $36.00/day for studios & $41/day for the 1 BR's. We do not allow pets in our 1 BR or studio apartments. To reserve the apartment, we request a negotiable deposit. The deposit is returned on departure day. We usually deduct the utilities and the cost of the cleaning fee from this deposit, but only with the guest's permission. We also engage a Letter Agreement which is initiated as a draft and is then passed back and forth until all of the terms and conditions are agreed upon by both parties.
