Due to an internship in Florida, I need to sublease my Columbia apartment for the summer beginning in May and ending with the expiration of my lease at the end of July. This is The Lofts at USC, which is by far the best apartment experience I've had during my four years in Columbia. It's right next to Swearingen Engineering building and a short walk from the rest of USC, Five Points, the Strom mega-gym, and some of the best cheap places to eat in Columbia (Al Amir, Moe's, Firehouse Subs, Dominos, Wing Zone, Subway, I like food, etc.). Free cable and Internet (and my roommate is probably leaving his big-screen TV over the summer). Fully furnished. Has a pool, kitchen and place to do laundry. My two male roommates don't plan to stay here over the summer, so you'll probably have the whole three-bedroom place to yourself. And since they're coming back, you won't have to do much cleaning to the general area when you leave, because they don't really care. Because The Lofts has a mix of students and older folks, I've noticed the owners don't mistreat me like the ones I had at University Oaks and other student-centered complexes.
