I am looking for someone to sublease my apartment for the summer - between mid-May to mid or late-August. I had subletters the last two summers and they have loved it. 695/mo for the 3 months, with utilities, parking, and laundry included!!!Also, the apartment will be available for the following year (Aug 2012 - Aug 2013), and the landlord is offering me a $200 finders fee if I find someone to rent for the whole year. I'd be willing to split the finders fee so you basically get an extra $100 in your pocket PLUS you basically get a place for the summer and the following year without having to move again at the end of the summer!About the apartment:2nd floor - safe!1 bedroom (not a studio, not shared) - 12x13, very spacious, windows on 2 walls, wood floors1 bathroom - shower, claw foot tub, etc.Kitchen - gas stove, newer appliances, built-in cabinets, custom breakfast bar w/ 2 stoolsLiving room - 12x8, very large, windows on 2 walls, wood floorsFront and Rear entrances (rear entrance has small porch on the 2nd floor overlooking Basset)I will include a window air conditioner that can cool the whole place - electricity is free so you can leave it on 24/7 if you want.About the building:3 story brick house w/ 4 apartmentsFree Laundry in basement - just a typical unfinished basement but both washer and dryer are free and work great!The other tenants in the other apartments are all grad students (I am a law student) so it is nice and quiet. No one will complain if you make some noise though!About the location:Just a few blocks from the Capitol (you can see it from the front sidewalk)5 minute walk from State Street10 minute walk from Campus/Union area2 blocks to Gas Station, CVS, a few other stores1 block to bus stopSecluded, safe small parking lot with a reserved spot for this apartment - I pay 50/mo but will include it for free.Landlord doesn't allow pets (other than fish) and NO SMOKINGThe location is perfect here - right on the edge of the student/professional neighborhoods so it really works for either! Whether you're going to be working downtown, taking classes on campus, or just want to be near the State Street/Downtown action, this place is perfect!
