I am looking for a straight female roommate to share my mostly furnished apartment. The apartment is three blocks from downtown Silver Spring, MD and about an 8 minute walk from the metro station. The apartment is homey with lots of light and a chic modern atmosphere. It is stylish and less than a year old wed be the second tenants. The community is great there are a lot of fun, organized activities.I am a young professional, just starting my career and new to the DC area. I like to laugh, drink wine occasionally and eat chocolate frequently! I also like to watch movies and cook. If you are a party animal, great for you, but you are not the roommate I am not looking for. I am a easy going person who loves nature and especially the ocean! I am not a neat freak, but appreciate clean and uncluttered common areas. I am seeking a responsible female roommate (non-smoker), who is career minded, but also fun loving! I want the apartment to be a relaxing place to return to after a long day of work. Rent is $1170 + half of the utilities, internet and cable. Total monthly costs would be around $1300.
