Union Station is about a 12-minute walk from the house as is the U. S. Capitol building, Senate Office Buildings and Library of Congress. Eastern Market Metro Station is about a 15-minute walk through a residential neighborhood. Walk in 8 minutes to H Street N. E. for Whole Foods and Giant grocery stores, CVS shop, restaurants, coffee shops, dry cleaners, phone store and banks. City bike rental one block from the house. Contact [email protected] or. Tenant would have use of the rest of the house (except rear bedroom and bathroom) which includes the dining area, well-equipped kitchen, living room, rear deck and yard. The house is air conditioned. Washer and dryer in the basement shared with basement tenant (separate unit). Wireless internet included in the rent. I do not have cable tv but, rather, local broadcast stations on a small, old tv with an indoor antenna. Photographs provided on request. Requirements: Application to Rent, proof of Covid vaccination, Short-term Rental Agreement, security deposit and first months rent to hold the room.
