Located very close to downtown in the beautiful Hawthorne neighborhood. It only takes two minutes by bus to get downtown! Complete with everything you need, including a private attached bath and air conditioning. And free street parking if you need it. This is my Room #2 here at the house and the house is hosted. The room is best for single occupancy. This room includes a private attached bathroom, with shower. The house is located in the vibrant and eclectic Hawthorne neighborhood, just blocks to downtown. We sit in an area with a very high Walk Score of 94, with restaurants, cafes, coffee shops, food cart pods, parks, post office, etc. all around us. A new large grocery store is just five blocks away and a Safeway is just 19 blocks away. A car is not really needed here, but free street parking is available if you have one. The Bike Score is a 99 out of 100. Use the Tri Met trip planner to find your way by bus or Max Train to your destinations from here, which is 1235 SE Salmon St. Portland State University is just 2 miles away and OHSU is just 3 miles away. The room is fully furnished, with a double bed, night stand, desk and chair, lamps, closet, A/C, and a private attached bath with shower and the house is equipped with a Century Link Gigabit Fiber Wi Fi 6 Router/Modem. And I just put in a smart TV, with 133 You Tube TV channels. You would need to supply your own bedding and towels, but I can supply them for a few bucks extra per month. Guests have full use of the kitchen and laundry, and there is space for your bike if you have one. Space is set aside in the kitchen in both the cupboards and refrigerator. I also ask for a deposit of $300. The rate is $895 a month and includes utilities, Wi Fi, furniture and furnishings, and maid service for the common areas.
