Seeking a small 1-2 bedroom rental in the Portales area available by March 1st. About me, I am a 33 year old mature, responsible mother with a 4 year old daughter. I will be finishing up my degree at Eastern and then continuing onto my Master's, and must relocate from Northern New Mexico to the Portales area as soon as possible to allow my daughter to get settled there before starting kindergarten in the fall.Things we need in a rental:* Small 1-2 bedroom apartment, duplex, house or mobile home* Would prefer a small yard if possible* MUST allow one small dog* Would prefer some utilities paid* Clovis or Portales or other outerlying areas are fine* Would prefer small rental between $425-$550/month* Must include appliances, as we will not be moving any appliances* Needs to be available by March 1st or beforeOther than those few things, all we need is a simple, small place. (Please note-I am NOT interested in renting a room in a house, so please don't contact me with roommate situations.) I am able to make minor cosmetic repairs in a rental if needed.Would also consider a lease to own possibility on a small mobile or house, with a low down payment and reasonable monthly payments, so feel free to contact me if you have something like that as well. Do not mind if it needs a little work, so long as it is on a lot where it can stay and does not need to be moved.We will be in the area on January 27th, and would like to look at any rental possibilities then and/or possibly go ahead and pay a deposit and first month's rent to hold until the place is available.
