I am looking for a responsible, neat, non-smoking female roommate with no pets.The condo owner, (my older brother), has spent three years furnishing and decorating the condo and then was unexpectedly relocated to NJ for work this past year. The unit is a ground level condo of a four unit building. It was built only a few years ago with almost every amenity. The kitchen has granite counter-tops, stainless steel appliances including stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher and a refrigerator with ice maker. The condo also includes a washer and dryer. The bathroom includes a full shower/tub with jacuzzi jets. The living room is equipped with a brand new 47-inch LED-LCD HDTV hooked up to a DirecTV DVR with HBO. You would have the master bedroom and full use of the condo. Every room in the condo is fully furnished (including dishes, pots/pans, dressers, bedding, etc).The location is off West Virginia Ave. NE, Washington, DC 20002. Around the corner are several bus stops and its within proximity of two Metro stations (New York/Rhode Island Station and Union Station). There is always plenty of street parking and it is also walking distance to Gallaudet University campus, many restaurants and nightlife of H St. NE, and the Atlas District.Rent for the summer is $1,000/month. This price covers all utilities including satellite, wireless Verizon modem and the electric bill (up to $100) which controls both heating and hot water. Lease terms may be flexible depending on tenant.A little about myself, I am a 28-year-old female, and am currently living in the smaller den room in the back. I work as a government contractor for the Agency for Healthcare Research Quality (AHRQ) in Rockville, MD. My background is in Public Health. I am a non-smoker/drinker, pretty tidy and quiet.
