What I need is a furnished bedroom with bed and dresser. It would be nice but not required to have a office desk and office chair. I need a place with laundry, WiFi internet, and a place to store a bicycle inside (like garage or something so it doesn't get rained on, damaged, or stolen. I only need a very small amount of storage space as I do not own much. A corner in a garage or basement will do. I want to live near shopping (grocery, and place like target for basic needs) within 2 miles preferably. I also prefer the place to have a peaceful and serene atmosphere and look and feel like a home, a place to live in and not just a box with a bed to come home to sleep and leave the next day. I also prefer a place where all of the appliances are fairly quiet within reason because I like to do audio recordings and don't want to record noisy highways, and refrigerator fans clanking.I do not smoke, do drugs or drink and have no criminal record. I'm a male in my late 30's, clean and respectable professional. I'm an aspiring spiritual teacher who is starting a business. I normally keep to myself. Most of my home activities are in my bedroom/office. I sleep, exercise, work on my business, read, write for my website & blog, meditate, and practice my guitar in my room normally.I am moving due to having an insane, lazy and dishonest landlord who can't seem to face reality. I moved here from MN in June and this guy turns out not to be the kind of guy you want to rent from so I'm looking to move Nov 1st. I am only interested in a month to month verbal agreement. The following is important. By responding to this ad you agree to all of the following: 1. That you are the homeowner looking to rent a room in the same home that you live in. If I as the tenant must move due to illegal activities, harassment or other reasons (repeatedly waking me up at night/preventing sleep) that make it impossible for me to live and/or work with peace of mind on part of the landlord or roommates and if those activities are not resolved then you as landlord agree to forfeit the last two months rent as compensation for my moving costs. You as landlord agree to fix all broken appliances including minute damage (e.g., rattling fan in fridge or A/C) within 7 days of it being reported verbally or by email or I will get rent reduction for every day after that it isn't fixed (e.g., takes 9 days to fix something. I'm paying $400/month rent. that means $13 off my next months rent per day that it's not fixed). So by renting to me you agree to these terms whether these terms are in the lease agreement or not. I have rented from far too many landlords who are psychopaths, criminals breaking the law, mentally ill with personality disorders that challenge them to face reality and truth (my current landlord) and just outright evil people who think they're god and can do whatever want without consequence.
